Playing Cards Pick
The main problem i had throughout this whole week was mainly the process of trying to make the card picks work as intended but in the process it cause much confusion on how we wanted it to function and how we wanted them to look and throughout this process we made many changes to the picks and in the end it has made a positive impact of the pickups and the game and other issues were just making them move but later we found a fix to both the card visual and the discarding system to help the player keep track on what cards they have and can get throughout the level.
Throughout the time we spent working on the cards we came to the point were we decided on what the cards should look like and how they should work and once we figured it out we spent the whole day working on it and it ended up in a lot better position and now it looks better than before. The main thing that we changed was the look of the pickup we wanted it to make the look of the card that will be added to the players inventory and made problems because of them working on the same scriptable object but once we made a new one for the new cards they should there own look but still had still had the problem of multiplying cards which we fixed by making a discard pile for the card thats the player will get and when the player gets a card the player has the card show on the screen in the pause menu and the cards can duplicate anymore because of the fix to the discard system
